a week agoFood was delicious. I drove from Knightdale to try her cooking. She did not disappoint. Sweet potato cornbread sold me alone and please try the pineapple lemonade

a week agoI wanted to support them.. always see them on fb.. finally did yesterday and I would say the customer service was not the best. The lady was not welcoming.. I wanted to turn around but I had already drove a little ways... Didn't smile... She just looked like she didn't want to be there... The food was ok... Very well seasoned but just didnt blend well for me... Food 7/10 customer service 3/10....

a month agoI’m not really sure where to start. Y’all both are amazing. Me and my brother have came here twice together and I’ve been once alone. The first time i came i got the salmon patties, green beans and mac. I have no complaints at all. Everything was great. My second visit was the meat loaf. Actually wanted salmon patties again but you all were out. The husband gave me a small piece he had left free of charge and an extra piece of cornbread. Our last visit was last Wednesday and we had the oxtails and fried fish. Again — amazing. Great customer service and even made me smile more that you all remembered my face. Keep up the awesome work and I’ll definitely keep patronizing. Much love

2 months agoI guess it’s a hit or miss cause the first time we had it it was soooo good. Go back the next day and the Mac and cheese looks like this. Not to mention the owner cook idk he was extremely rude to my friend. They lie about the sides available. Had a hour lunch that made us late getting back for. So idk if I’ll be back.

4 months agoFood was really good! Taste fresh and made to order and wasn't a long wait. $35 for a plate is a bit pricey for me but overall it was some good food! Glad I got to taste it at least once.

6 months agoCouldn't wait to get home so I had to taste test in the parking lot...ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Our food was seasoned to perfection, the fried food may be a bit salty to those unfamiliar with soul food seasoning. The sauce on the lambchops was a pleasant surprise, the green beans and collards were perfect. The baked beans have meat in them...so, if that's not your style, go with the mac & cheese or something else. To top it off, the pineapple lemonade was chefs kiss! They were out of a few items today but I'm not worried because we'll be back for SURE! Thank you for providing a tasty Soul Food option on this side of town at the Premium Outlet!

7 months agoVery high quality food coming out of this food truck! I saw them on DoorDash but since I was near the mall, I just walked over to speak with the owner and order in person. She described the preparation of the lamb chops, which were delicious by the way and very tender. They were glistening on my kitchen counter! Yes, the prices are high but the quality is there. Treat yourself. The meat in the baked beans elevated the side and honestly they could be an entree on their own, combined with the rice that was served with the lamb chops. The mac and cheese could use a bolder cheese or more seasoning, but it was creamy and those would just be my personal preferences. Definitely glad I took the chance and I look forward to trying some other menu items. And above all, service was excellent. No missing items, no excessive waiting, just good food, prepared to order.

8 months agoThe food was delicious! The fried catfish was seasoned well and we received large portions. I can’t wait to try other items on the menu.
